Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on the 1st of October 1995. She is an acclaimed actress who has appeared on Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into the family of actors as well as filmmakers. Both professions she herself has pursued. Sogni e bisogni, directed by Sergio Citti and starring Asia Argento, at nine, was her debut film. In 1988, Michele Soavi's The Church was directed by Michele Soavi and she played the role of Cristina Comencini's Zoo. Red Wood Pigeon, directed also by Moretti in 1989, was her role as Nanni Moretti's little daughter. Close Friends (written and directed by Michele Placido) was when Asia's acting career truly started to blossom. She played roles that ranged from very young to becoming more mature. Cannes International Film Festival received the movie well. For Trauma (1993), she made her debut alongside her father, the renowned Italian filmmaker Dario Argento (her mother is among his favorite actors, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search of her parents' killer. The Phantom of the Opera is her third movie with her Father, her first two movies being Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's dedication and passion for acting has also been used for the part of Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau was the director. Queen Margot. The actress had an international part. In 1995, her collaboration together with Michel Piccoli, in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion won her yet another award, this time the David di Donatello and Grolla of Oro. Asia took up directing as an occupation in the year 1994. Her debut short film was Prospettive. A documentary she created about her dad followed by Abel/Asia (1998), a film that was awarded a prize in the Rome Film Festival and was both directed between 1996 and 1998. In 1999, Asia made her feature-directing debut with Scarlet Diva (2000), where she acted as the main actress and writer for the script. The film was made available globally in the month of May. It was awarded a trophy at the Williamsburg International Film Festival in Brooklyn. In 2001, following the directing of a number of music videos the actress gave birth to her first child, Anna Lou. The year 2002 saw Asia on The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action thriller, which was directed by Vin Diesel. Asia also has a selection of short stories, which have appeared in prestigious magazines.
